This water-based paint contains finely ground metallic particles and extremely fine grains for texture in a perfectly applicable acrylic medium. It can be applied to almost any surface—wood, stone, terracotta, styrofoam, canvas, paper, metal, ceramics, walls, concrete, and more. For the best results, we recommend applying two layers, with at least one hour between coats. Use simple application techniques—with a brush or sponge—to create unique and elegant decorations. If necessary, before applying the gilding paint, prepare the surface with appropriate primers for the specific material and paint it in a neutral color such as white, gray, or black. In decoupage, this paint can be used as a base, with stencils, or for adding accents to reliefs. It creates an incredibly soft and delicate satin shine. Once dry, its fine texture can be felt to the touch. For crackle techniques, combine it with a contrasting color, using the gilding paint as the base. This way, you can create unique MDF or wooden items; wooden jewelry pieces will shimmer delicately through the cracks in the surface layer. Use stencils to add accents on walls or other surfaces in your interior. You’ll achieve a beautiful, artistic design by applying the gilding paint to reliefs made with black gesso. RECOMMENDATIONS: It is not advisable to dilute this paint with water, as it may compromise coverage, quality, and the final effect. Use lacquer or epoxy resin for finishing coatings depending on the type of decorated surface. Clean the tools you work with promptly using warm water and soap. All paints in the series can be mixed if necessary. Store at temperatures above 5°C and keep away from direct sunlight.
