Sometimes trapped bubbles may rise to the surface later. Be sure to check your casting more than once after pouring for additional bubbles. And do it in a section to avoid bubbles.• Use a cotton swab to easily clean up the excess (or scissors will be needed to trim the finished product). Release spray can help remove mold.• For clay projects after firing, you can try running the finished product under soapy water for easy release. For other food materials, such as isomalt, the filled mold can be tried to put in the freezer for a few minutes to avoid distortion when removed from the mold.• Food and non-food materials should be used separately. Wash and boil before use, especially for food.
