This paint receives energy from any source—sun or ultraviolet rays, incandescent lamps, etc. Approximately 15 minutes of bright daylight or artificial light is sufficient to charge it for continuous light for 8 hours, equivalent to moonlight. The accumulation process is a continuous cycle and the lifespan of the fluorescent pigments is at least 30 years.
